Thomas Algie Abrams

Thomas Algie Abrams, 93, of Joanna, widower of Beatrice Graham Abrams, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Presbyterian Community of Columbia.

Born on August 7, 1919, in Simpsonville, he was a son of the late Joseph James and Lola Crowe Abrams. Mr. Abrams was a World War II Army veteran, retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a son, Thomas Algie Abrams, Jr., of Nevada City, CA; a daughter, Martha A. Caulder of Lexington; grandchildren, Cpt. Ryan (DeLesline) Caulder and Natalie (Daniel) Herb and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Epworth United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jerry Pickens. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 – 2:30 pm a the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, PO Box 87, Joanna, SC 29351 or to the Presbyterian Community of Columbia, 700 DaVega Drive, Lexington, SC 29073.
