Thomas Mundy

Thomas Brian Mundy, 37, of Whitmire, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Wallace Thomson Hospital.

Born on January 19, 1977, in Newberry, he was a son of George Jerry and Karen Sink Mundy. He was an HAVAC Technician.

Mr. Mundy is survived in addition to his parents of Whitmire by his wife, Melissa Smith Mundy; a step-son, Noah Goff of Columbia; sisters, Angela (Tony) Davenport of Laurens, Stacy Mundy and fiancée, Wayne McDaniel of Irmo, Sandie Mundy and fiancée, Adam Kirby of Aurora, WI; a brother, George J. Mundy III of Norway, MI and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, April 27, 2014, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:30 – 2:30 pm Sunday at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

Active pallbearers will be Troy Baker, Frank Burnett, Logan Davenport, Tony Davenport, Justin Mundy and Daniel Nelson.
