Thurrel Kinard

Thurrel Long Kinard, 91, of Newberry, died at his residence.

Born on May 12, 1930 in Newberry, he was a son of the late, Charlie and Lizzie Long Kinard. He was a United States Army veteran and a retired truck driver.

He is survived by a sister, Violet Perry of Newberry. He was predeceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00PM Monday, January 3, 2022 in the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. James Shealy. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Memorials may be made to Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church, 3074 Bachman Chapel Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.

Active pall bearers will be his nephews.
