Twanita Ridgell

Nina Twanita Ridgell, 70, of Prosperity, died Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital.

Born on July 20, 1944, in Saluda, she was a daughter of the late Julian Z. and Daisy Crout Oswald. She was retired from Union Switch and Signal and was a member of Corinth Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Ridgell is survived by her husband, Doyle Ridgell; daughters, Tammy Ridgell and Pascha Ridgell (Mark) Chrisley both of Prosperity; sisters, Rama McCarty of St. Matthews, Bernell Eargle and Claris Black both of Saluda, Norma Martin of Lake City, FL, Nita Stroupe of Bronson, FL and Patsy Swygert of Leesville; brothers, Duel Oswald and Cordell Oswald both of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Nicholas Chrisley, Courtney Stone, Alex Snelling and Ridgell Chrisley; step-great-grandchildren, Drayton and Paisley Chrisley. She was predeceased by a sister, Ona Cox and brothers, Ethan Oswald and Brennan Oswald.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Corinth Lutheran Church by the Rev. Pam Turfa. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1741, Greenwood, SC 29648.

Active pallbearers will be Billy Jr. Ridgell, Justin Ridgell, Nicholas Chrisley, Cory Stoudemayer, Reggie Mabus and Fred Swygert, Jr.
