Vickie Alewine

Vickie Lynne Alewine, 50, of Chapin, died Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on November 15, 1962, in Prosperity, she was the daughter of Retha Frick Alewine and the late Franklin Lamar Alewine. She was a certified nursing assistant at the Heritage at the Lowman in White Rock. Miss Alewine was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and the church Primetimers.

She is survived in addition to her mother, Retha Alewine of Chapin by a brother, Curtis (Renee) Alewine of Chapin; maternal grandmother, Nettie C. Frick of Chapin; nephews, Matthew Godwin and his fiancée, Dominque Rosendahl, Alan Alewine and Michael Alewine and a great-niece, Hannah Godwin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at St. Peter Lutheran Church by the Rev. Dave Tholstrup. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, SC 29036.
