Vickie Warren

Vickie Wicker Warren, 65, of Newberry, died Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center.

Born on July 18, 1956, in Prosperity, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Katherine Piester Wicker. Mrs. Warren was a dental assistant for over 35 years having worked for Dr. Dubose, Dr. McCartha and Dr. Edwards. She was a member of Morris Chapel Southern Methodist Church. She loved supporting the Mid Carolina High School Track Team and the Pomaria-Garmany Elementary Archery Team.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Warren; a son, Zachary Warren of Newberry and a daughter, Whitney Warren of Newberry. She was predeceased by a brother, Thadd Wicker.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Charlie Clinton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cornerstone Community Academy, PO Box 634, Newberry, SC 29108 or the Mid Carolina Track Team, 377 Cy Schumpert Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.
