Virginia A. Sandel

Funeral services for Virginia Addy Sandel will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 1, 2013, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Mountain, South Carolina, officiated by The Reverend Brett Collins, with interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives immediately following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.

The widow of J.C. Sandel, Mrs. Sandel passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013. She was born on March 13, 1925 to the late Yoder Lee and Lois Shealy Addy. Surviving are her daughters, Sharon (Albert) Shealy of Chapin and Wendy Goodson of Greenville; grandchildren, Angie (Jason) Jones, Ginny (Scott) Sightler, Ryan (Jessica) Goodson, and Kayla Goodson; great-grandchildren, Emma Sightler, Abby Sightler, Owen Jones and Kyle Jones; sister, Marjorie (Edward) Fulmer and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Amy Slice, son Brian Sandel and sister, Linda Derrick.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, PO Box 186, Little Mountain, South Carolina 29075.

The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Albert and Sharon Shealy, in Chapin.

Active pallbearers will be Ronald Derrick, Glen Fulmer, Ryan Goodson, Jason Jones, Paul Shealy and Scott Sightler.
