Virginia Hattaway

Mrs. Virginia Inabinet Hattaway, 98, formerly of Newberry, wife of the late Clifton Hattaway, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Magnolias of Easley.

Virginia was born to the late Jesse Clifton Inabinet and Minnie Lee Cromer Inabinet of Newberry on April 27, 1917. Virginia worked for Southern Bell in Newberry for many years and was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Joe Robert Crouch and his wife, Phoebe of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a niece, Linda Pack and her husband, Joey of North Augusta, SC and a nephew, Jimmy and his wife, Carolyn Inabinet of Summerville, SC. Virginia was preceded in death by three brothers, Jessie Lee Inabinet of St. George, ME, Olin Inabinet of Charleston, SC and James C. Inabinet of Vallejo, CA and a sister, Bertie m. Garside of St. Petersburgh, FL.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 19, 2015, at Newberry Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, PO Box 67, Newberry, SC 29108.
