William "Bill" Freeman

William Troy Freeman, 66, of Prosperity, died June 21, 2016 due to a heart attack.

Bill was born May 14, 1950 in Laurens County, SC.  He played high school football at Clinton High School in Clinton, SC and went on to The University of South Carolina on a football scholarship in 1968.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, son, Troy, and daughter, Jennie Freeman Daniels, sister-in-law, Martha, nephew, Sam, two aunts and many cousins.

Friends are invited to attend a gathering and eulogy at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home located at 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 3:00 pm.
