Willie Mae Bolick

Willie Mae Bolick, 99, of Kinards, widow of Edward Leon Bolick, died Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Hospice House of Laurens County.

Born on August 1, 1915, in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Gilliam Pitts and Maggie Bobb Johnson. She was retired from Whitten Center and was a charter member of the Joanna Assembly of God.

She is survived by sons, Wilbur Leon Bolick and Eugene Pitts (Martha) Bolick both of Kinards; a daughter, Sylvia White of Kinards; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bolick was predeceased by a son, James Carroll Bolick and a grandson, James Dylan White.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Joanna Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice House of Laurens County, 1304 Springdale Drive, Clinton, SC 29325.
