Wyman H. Mills

Wyman Harmon Mills, 84, of Newberry, widower of Evangeline Berry Mills, died Sunday, April 10, 2016, at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on August 7, 1931, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Johnnie Lee and Lillie Mae Hipp Mills. Mr. Mills was retired from Greenwood Mills, was a farmer and a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by daughters, Susan M. McDermott, Janice M. Graham and Denise M. Martell all of Newberry; sisters, Elizabeth Longshore of Prosperity, Myra (Roscoe) Hightower of Aiken, Joye Hawkins of Newberry and Jean (Dale) Stencil of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Corey Graham, Tyler McDermott and Thomas Martell; a great-grandson, Trey McDermott.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Tim Thompson. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
